How Our Market News Works
The Market News stream is produced by an automated system we built and run ourselves, with human review. This page explains how a story gets written, what the numbers on it mean, and where the limits are.

Where the News Comes From
Our system continuously reads a fixed, audited list of sources: central bank newsrooms (the Fed, ECB, Bank of England, Bank of Japan, SNB, Bank of Canada, RBA and Japan's Ministry of Finance), wire-grade market feeds, and established forex news desks. Every source was checked for reliability before it was added, and the list is reviewed as sources change.
We fetch politely, respect robots.txt, and never republish another site's article text.
One Story, Not Twenty Headlines
When several outlets cover the same event, our system groups that coverage into a single story. A story is only written when at least three independent organizations have reported the same event. That corroboration count is shown on every story. Single-outlet claims do not become stories.
How the Text Is Written
Story text is generated by an AI model from the corroborated coverage, held for human review before publishing during our review phase, and spot-checked continuously after that. The system writes what the sources reported. It does not speculate, and it does not add opinions of its own.
Living updates. While an event is developing, new corroborated coverage is appended to the same story as timestamped updates, so the page you bookmarked stays current. When a story goes quiet it is closed; a later development becomes a new story rather than an endless chain.
What the Numbers Mean

| Currency tone (-1 to +1) | Whether the corroborated coverage reads negative or positive for a currency. It describes the news, not the market, and is never a trade recommendation. |
| Since publish | The actual price change of affected pairs, measured from our own live rate feed at the moment the story went out. A measured number, not an estimate. |
| Corroborated by N | How many independent organizations reported the event before we wrote the story. |

Nothing in the Market News stream is financial advice or a trade signal. We publish analysis of conditions with the data behind it. Trading decisions and their outcomes are yours.
Mistakes
Automated systems make mistakes, and corroboration reduces but does not eliminate them. When we find an error we correct the story and the correction appears as an update.
