Germany’s economy expanded more than initially estimated in the second quarter of 2026, with Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growing by 0.3% quarter-on-quarter, an upward revision from the preliminary 0.2% estimate. On an annual basis, GDP growth accelerated to 1.0% year-on-year, also exceeding the initial forecast of 0.9%.
