The London session opens with a mixed handoff from Asia, where the JP225 closed down -1.59%. European indices also show declines, with the UK100 down -0.41%, DE40 down -0.25%, and US futures indicating a softer open, including US30 down -0.28%. The broader market Risk Meter currently stands at +0.44, suggesting a slight risk-on sentiment. In the currency space, AUD leads with +0.22% strength over the last 24 hours, while GBP is the weakest at -0.22%.

Recent data releases have shown some positive surprises. France’s PPI m/m came in at -0.4%, better than the -0.8% consensus.
