Sydney opens to a mixed market tone following overnight sessions. US equities saw declines, with the US30 down 1.18% and the US500 down 0.35%. Gold, XAUUSD, also fell 0.66%. In contrast, the JP225 gained 0.34%. The risk meter stands at +0.29, indicating a slight risk-on sentiment despite the equity weakness.
